Meet Our Instructors

The instructors are the backbone of The Apprentice Academy.  They provide help and support to students and bring a variety of relevant industry experience to the classroom.  These are just a few of the instructors who help make The Apprentice Academy a great place to learn!

Instructor John Schultz has been teaching in community colleges since 2003 and has been at The Apprentice Academy since March of 2009.  He says his favorite part about The Apprentice Academy is that students are here, “Because they WANT to learn.”  As a retired Boeing 727 Airline Captain, he will welcome you aboard Print Reading for Welders, Math for Industry, and Industrial Safety here at The Apprentice Academy.

If you are taking Industrial Math here at The Apprentice Academy, there is a good chance you will be learning from instructor Linda Ransom.  After 29 years of teaching in the public school system, you will be in good hands!  With a masters degree in education, administrative licenses from Indiana and South Carolina, as well as teaching licenses from Michigan, South Carolina, and Indiana, she is more than ready to meet The Apprentice Academy's student's challenges! She says there is nothing more rewarding than, “Watching students be enthusiastic toward learning math.  They are so determined to be successful!”
